How hard can this be to understand? It happens time and time again in war. During the Revolutionary War they were called "Turn-Coats". In World War I they were called "Traders". During World War II several were prosecuted and put to death for it. So why do we find it so hard to accept it when we see TREASON!
Maj. Nidal Hasan was not the first and I am sure will not be the last soldier to decide to join the other-side. It has become clear that this US Soldier fallowed a typical process of sympathizing with the enemy and then joining their fight. It is impossible to know when it started but somewhere between joining the service, receiving his medical degree and certifications, all paid for by the taxpayer, Hasan made the decision to turn. And typical of our Jehadist enemy he planed and executed what he thought would be a suicide mission.
Defenders want us to see it as insanity, the press is ignoring it, and our government is keeping it quite but it is clear that Hasan hipnotically answered the call of Usama Bin Ladon or leaders supporting UBL. These leaders for years have via the internet and through the media called all of Islam to Jehad. In response Maj. Nidal Hasan coldly and calculatedly suited up, said his prayers, and answered the call.
